There are so many various kinds meetings (seminars, courses, workshops, conferences, congresses) and their organisations require different kind of approach, because they all have their own special needs demanding different arrangements.
A long list of references and satisfied clients proves that our company was able to reach its main goal to organise quality conferences in the past 15 years.
Opinions about our Organisations
I had the opportunity to work with Diamond Congress Ltd at the occasion of the International Forum of Young Scientists (Budapest, June 1999). The meeting was a satellite event in the context of the World Conference on Science, organised by UNESCO and ICSU in Budapest in June 1999. It was a great experience of co-operation. In particular I remember the patience and the readiness to solve "problems", for example request of visa for young people coming from developing countries and to find solutions. The visits organised at the scientific institutions and the pleasure of the evening events are also in my mind. It was really a nice and friendly experience.

The meeting our Society held in Budapest during 1999 is remembered with a lot of fondness. It was a wonderful experience in so many ways. Not only did the meeting seem to run automatically, but there were extra touches that made our international attendees feel very comfortable and aware of the host culture. Diamond Congress is to be commended for combining efficiency with personal service and attention to detail. Diamond Congress made it easy for me to concentrate on meeting with our committee members without having to worry about organizational details. The excursions they planned were wonderful and will stay in my memory for a long time!

Diamond Congress Ltd. organized the 7th European ISSX Meeting, (August 22-26, 1999) in Budapest, at Hotel Hilton. This congress was one of the most successful congresses of ISSX (International Society for the Study of Xenobiotics) held so far. The participants and the Executive Committee of ISSX spoke of the organization with the highest appreciation. The congress went on without any problem, its leaflets, announcements, program books and the books of the short courses were at the highest level. Our conferences to be held in the near future will also be organized in cooperation with Diamond Congress Ltd.
Dr. László Vereczkey
Chairman of the Conference
László Rosta, chairman of ECNS'99 received the following letter from Prof. Albert FURRER (Chairman of the European Neutron Scattering Association, Chairman of the previous Neutron Conference held in Interlaken in 1996, Head of the Swiss Neutron Research Laboratory) just after the conference:
"I would like to thank for all the efforts you took to make ECNS'99 such an outstanding success. Usually - when attending conferences - I am always looking forward to go home after a few days, but this time I enjoyed my stay in Budapest enormously and regretted that the time went over so quickly. I heard from many other participants the same impression which underlines that ECNS'99 was not just another conference, but it was a real "jewel". You and your collaborators of Diamond Congress worked hard for it, but you can be proud about the outcome. I will never forget the past days in Budapest."
The annual International Workshop on Electromagnetic Nondestructive Evaluation (ENDE) was held in Budapest between June 28 and 30, 2000. Many of those attending the Workshop visited Hungary for the first time on this occasion. Beyond the scientific program, the beautiful venue (the Main Building of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences), the friendly atmosphere of the downtown, the relaxed Banquet held in Visegrád and the well-organized post-conference tour around the Lake Balaton are still very nice memories of the participants. The success of the Workshop is largely due to the professional, smooth and inventive organization made by the Diamond Congress Ltd. The scientific organizers are very thankful for their invaluable cooperation.
Dr. József Pávó
Chairman of the Workshop
Diamond Congress was an organizer of the 18th IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference (IMTC) held in Budapest Congress Centre on 21-23 May of 2001. Diamond set up the conference facilities in a most professional and effective manner that created an even traffic flow through the oral and poster technical sessions, the exhibits and the informal meeting periods. It arranged an excellent social program, from a concert at the cathedral to a classic horse show along with tours of Budapest and the Hungarian countryside. Diamond Congress deserves the thanks of the conference attendees and the sponsors for a job well done. I would recommend Diamond Congress to any organization planning a conference/congress in the Budapest region.

The World Conference on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants was held at Budapest in 2001 (8-11th July) by contribution of Diamond Congress Ltd. The main intention of this Conference was, organised under the aegis of ISHS (International Society of Horticultural Sciences) and Hungarian scientific associations (including the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and Ministry of Agriculture and Regional Development) was to provide a world-wide overview of research results in medicinal and aromatic plants achieved in the past few years. The subject matter of the Conference was wide-ranging and included chemistry, biology, pharmacognosy, pharmacology, industrial production, and economics. At the same time, focus was brought to the scientific and practical problems and the challenges for medicinal and aromatic plants in the coming century.
The Conference, which was held in the historical building of Hungarian Academy of Sciences, was a great success, according to the unanimous opinion of both Hungarian and foreign participants.

Starting from 1986 the future founders of Diamond Congress Ltd. have organised four medium scale international conferences for the Hungarian high energy physics community. It was a most natural choice to co-operate with this highly professional small company when in 2001 the leading event of the European Physical Society in the field of particle physics was held in Budapest. Already in the application phase their expertise and personal commitment has contributed largely to the positive outcome of the site visit of the international organising committee. The conference was termed later as the most smoothly organised one in a series, which started nearly forty years ago. The long-term co-operation with physicists (and other scientists) enables the team of Diamond Congress Ltd. to provide the most adequate response to every single request typical for academic circles and sometimes quite different in nature from the business or political actors. Their readiness for instant improvised action if needed is encompassed with technical and financial reliability. Their constantly renewing program suggestions for accompanying persons and the conference tours helped our series of conferences to preserve its scientific and touristic attractivity in the past fifteen years.

The Fifth European Conference on Applications of Meteorology – ECAM 2001 and the First Annual Meeting of the European Meteorological Society – EMS was held in Budapest between 24-28 September 2001 in Hotel Helia. The organizational work of Diamond Congress Ltd. concerning announcements, publications, registrations of more than 300 participants from 33 countries was essential. The local organizing committee at the Hungarian Meteorological Service got a lot of help and good ideas from the staff of Diamond Congress Ltd. The most important thing is the satisfaction of participants which is reflected in the questionnaire filled up after the meeting. Typical answers:
-
Most things went very smoothly.
-
Great food. Good opportunity to meet people in each break time.
-
The service of the conference bureau Diamond Congress was excellent or good – 90%.
-
Congratulations!
As a chairman of the International Planning Committee I gratefully acknowledge Diamond Congress Service for making it possible to arrange this Fifth ECAM. They gave evidence of their competence in conference business.

I regretted very much that I had to leave the EHRS Meeting in Eger early. In the meantime I heard some voices telling me their happiness with the scientific and social events and I congratulate you very much to this great success. As the EHRS Treasurer, I am very grateful for the smooth organisation of the financial affairs of this meeting which saved me from a lot of trouble. For that I wish to thank you and your helpers from Diamond Congress Services in particular.
Prof. Wolfgang Schmutzler
Treasurer of EHRS
The XXXIst Annual Meeting of the European Histamine Research Society was held in Eger between May 22-26 2002. The organisation of the meeting went like clockwork. As President of the EHRS, I was in constant contact with the team as soon as they had been selected by Professor Andras Falus. Emails were always answered promptly and any potential, perceived problems rapidly disappeared. The venue for the conference was suitable and the registration desk was staffed by friendly, helpful people who made molehills out of mountains! The social programme was enjoyed by all participants and the team at Diamond Congress made it possible for all members to take part in the programme e.g. a car was provided for those unable to walk down from the trout grilling venue. All in all, I am only sorry that Diamond Congress is based in Budapest as it would be useful to have such a pleasant and efficient team helping with the organisation of all our meetings.
Prof Madeleine Ennis
President of the European Histamine Research Society
The 12th General Conference of the European Physical Society EPS-12 "Trends in Physics" was held in Budapest 26-30 August 2002. This distinguished event of European physicists, member of a traditional triennial series, was attended by 483 participants from 42 countries. Smoothly running the sophisticated programme consisting of plenary and parallel sessions, round-table discussions, poster sessions, real-time Internet transmission, special workshops and, of course, lively cultural and social events was a real challenge for the organisers. It was a great pleasure to work with Diamond Congress Ltd. and I would like to express my sincere thanks to this company. The DC crew run the conference without any problem, in an extremely efficient and still personal and patient way. Their approach was always to solve the problems, both big and little ones. Conference participants were able to concentrate to the scientific program rather than worrying about organisational problems. Therefore I feel that the numerous congratulations I received after the meeting are to be forwarded to DC. A conference like EPS-12 can never be organised successfully without involving a professional company like Diamond Congress Ltd. Thank you, friends!

I am pleased to forward to the Diamond Congress the great many congratulations sent to me after the closing of the 23rd International Specialized Symposium on Yeasts, held in Budapest from 26 to 29 August, 2003. Beyond the scientific matters, the success of the Symposium can be largely attributed to the professional and skilled organization provided by the team of the Diamond Congress in arrangeing the program, abstracts, registration, venue and social events of the meeting. Throughout the preparation, executing and running the Symposium I enjoyed the highly efficient, enthusiastic and smooth collaboration with the members of the Diamond Congress, hence I feel appropriate to share them all appreciation expressed by the participants.

Our VIth EBEA Meeting held in Budapest 12 -15 November 2003, and the attached COST 281 MCM and Workshop have really been successful, with 250 participants, including 20 students or Eastern European scientists who could be helped to attend by our Society by waving their registration fees. The scientific quality was helped by an efficient management of submissions and validation through the website of the meeting hosted by Diamond Congress. Quick answers to mails during the organisation to solve any problems was appreciated. As a past treasurer, I can appreciate the balanced or even positive announced budget, and I know this is the fruit of professional management by Diamond Congress for hotel accommodation, any coffee break and lunches of the conference and the adjoining social events.
The technical part of the meeting ran wery smoothly, and any additional request was favourably satisfied. The choice of the Venue was perfect, with an ideal arrangement of the rooms for preparation of presentations, plenary and scientific sessions and posters exhibition.
Coffee breaks and lunches were excellent and abundant, as well as the welcome reception. The boat trip on the Danube with illuminated prestigious buildings of Budapest accompanied by musicians and dancers was so delicious that participants did not think to leave the board at the end, continuing to enjoy their discussions in such a nice ambiance. The deep attention of Diamond Congress in even smallest details went up to re-draw the logo which had arrived them "noisy" without we were alerted. And I have probably forgotten somemore ...
All our grateful thanks to the Diamond Congress Director Varga Attila and his staff for their huge efforts and success in the scientific and technical quality of this event. And my compliments to their spouses and families, who patiently waited for them during these hard days.
Dr René de Seze, EBEA President
I would like to personally thank you and your team for your really superb job for the 27th ISTA Congress. I was really impressed about the professional services and organisation you provided. Despite that I must admit (you probably know) that I was really in doubt if everything would be arranged well and in time, but absolutely, this was the best organised ISTA Congress ever.
It was a pleasure to work with you.

Diamond Congress Ltd. organized the 12th EurOMA Annual International Conference at the ELTE Conference Centre in Budapest from 19-21 June in 2005. The team was young and efficient yet very experienced and as Executive Secretary for the Association, was delighted to report an excellently run event. Everything ran smoothly and the team were always on hand to deal with the smallest request. The participants all enjoyed themselves and also felt that everything was highly organised. Well done on a fantastic job, and keep up the good work!

The 6th European Solid Mechanics Conference (ESMC2006) was held in Budapest between 28 August - 1 September 2006. This event - being the largest scientific meeting of scientists in this field under the auspices of the European Mechanics Society (EUROMECH) - took place for the first time in a Central-Eastern-European country. The great success of the Conference reflected in many letters sent to the organizers affirms my opinion, that the choice of Diamond Congress Ltd. as conference bureau was a good decision. Their professional activities during the pre-conference period as well as during the days of the meeting helped us a lot in the organization. The attractive social programmes gave many participants unforgettable impressions about the city and the surroundings. I would gladly cooperate with them also in the future, and will recommend them to colleagues who plan to organise conferences.
