MEDIA, JOURNALISTS

Members of the press should register to get accreditation to the Conference. For this a proof of journalist status has to be presented to our staff at the Information Desk in Building A. Please note that this press badge is not available for scientists working in professional scientific journals. We will have a Press Conference at 13:00 on Friday, August 24th, before the Hans Selye centennial session (see below). If you are a journalist, or a freelancer planning to write about the Conference, for the location of the Press Conference and a continuous offer of programs please contact our staff at the Information Desk. We suggest your participation especially at the Opening Ceremony with László Sólyom, President of the Hungarian Republic (August 23rd, 16-17) and the Hans Selye Centennial Exhibition and Celebration (August 24th, 14-17), the detailed programs see below. Special session and fine arts exhibition to commemorate Hans Selye – (Friday 24 August 14-17, Level 1 Building A)

When stress meets art: A fine art exhibition called "STRESS" is organized in cooperation with the Downtown Artists Society (www.downtownartists.hu) and the Hans Selye Hungarian Society of Behavioral Science to commemorate Hans Selye. Well-known Hungarian artists are invited to create and present their oeuvres inspired by the Stress topic.
